At the Urban Farming Institute, we often say: we don’t just grow food. We grow people. That belief continues to guide our work every day across Mattapan, Dorchester and Roxbury. We remain committed to building a community where fresh, locally grown food that our neighbors want to eat is accessible, and where residents have the knowledge and support to grow food for themselves.

None of the work we do happens alone. It is made possible by our dedicated staff, board of directors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who believe in the importance of community-led solutions.
