Part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant

UFI is seeking at part-time, 20 hour per week Bookkeeper / Accountant to support the accounting and finance function by managing AP/AR, full-cycle payroll, bank reconciliation and assisting with monthly closings. This position will start on-site and move to a hybrid model after the training period. The salary range is $45.00 per hour - $55.00 per hour based on experience and background.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Maintain and manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes.
· Manage payroll process accurately and timely.
· Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
· Assist with monthly financial closings and reporting.
· Collaborate with the company leaders to ensure all financial records are up to date and compliant.
· Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience with QuickBooks (Cloud and Desktop versions) is a must.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
· Experience with nonprofit accounting is helpful but not required.
· Experience with payroll management; experience with iSolved preferred.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work on-site.
