This year, the Urban Farming Institute welcomed its 10^th Farmer Training Program cohort, marking a decade of hands-on learning, skill building, and community rooted in urban agriculture. This cohort was especially meaningful because it also marked the return of the Farmer Training Program after a few years away.

There’s something incredibly gratifying about watching something you planted with your own hands go from seed to seedling, to plant, to flowers, and finally, to peppers. And honestly, there’s something even better about knowing exactly where your food came from.
